As cities like Chicago, Detroit, and New Orleans have begun to release COVID-19 death rates disaggregated by race and ethnicity, it is increasingly clear that Black individuals and communities are among the hardest hit by the pandemic. This Working Group is interested in investigating the impacts of COVID-19 on Black communities in the US and globally, including among LGBTQ, homeless, disabled, senior, and immigrant populations and their intersections.
