Risk Communication Strategies and the Easing of COVID-19 Restrictions

banner-covid-risk-communication

Policymakers have enacted multiple restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19; however, these decrees will eventually be lifted. Effective risk communication is critical to ensuring that the easing of these restrictions does not result in a resurgence of cases. Focusing on two COVID-19 hotspots, New York and Louisiana, this Working Group will develop risk communication strategies related to the easing of restrictions by modeling the social amplification of risk.
