COVID-19 and Children, Youth, and Schools

The Children, Youth, and Schools Working Group are creating a supportive and collaborative environment for research coordination to learn about the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the effectiveness of COVID-19 response efforts, on the rights of children and youth. These rights include:

  1. Safety, Survival and Protection: especially health, WASH, child protection, psychosocial impacts and support;
  2. Development: educational continuity, differential impacts and outcomes of policy and programming, and home-based/distance learning outcomes;
  3. Participation: engagement of children and youth in risk reduction, safety and recovery
