This webinar provided a demonstration of the newly released CONVERGE Understanding and Ending Gender-Based Violence in Fieldwork Training Module. This module, which was developed in partnership with The Fieldwork Initiative, describes gender-based violence in the context of field research. The module tackles misconceptions about gender-based violence and provides real life scenarios and strategies for safe fieldwork practices.

This recorded session should be of interest to you if you are an educator, student, researcher, practitioner, or other professional hoping to learn more about this free, online resource. The webinar featured tips for how you can integrate the Understanding and Ending Gender-Based Violence module into your classroom, workplace, and future presentations. It also showed how the module functions and the resources associated with it.

The CONVERGE Understanding and Ending Gender-Based Violence in Fieldwork Module–developed with support from the National Science Foundation–is now available via the CONVERGE website. We hope you will access it.
